As a Sales Truck Driver at Dola Group, your day starts early and keeps moving. You will drive an assigned route, deliver FMCG products to outlets, collect payments, and actively grow sales along the way. Key Responsibilities
- Achieve set sales targets and consistently grow volume along your assigned route
- Deliver FMCG products to customers accurately and within agreed timelines
- Identify, approach, and onboard new retail outlets along the route
- Collect payments from customers and ensure daily reconciliation is accurate
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with outlet owners and staff
- Handle stock correctly using FIFO rotation and minimise product damage
- Carry out basic pre-trip vehicle checks and drive safely at all times
- Submit daily sales and delivery reports to your supervisor
Required Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Minimum KCSE certificate
- Valid driving licence with BCE class endorsement
- Strong selling, communication, and basic numeracy skills
- Honest, reliable, and able to handle cash and stock responsibly
Desirable:
- Prior experience in FMCG sales, route distribution, or van selling
- Familiarity with Nairobi or other major Kenya urban routes
- Basic knowledge of stock management and customer invoicing
Skills and Competencies
- Confident field sales ability with a target-driven mindset
- Good interpersonal skills for daily customer engagement
- Basic arithmetic for payment collection and reconciliation
