ActiveJobs.co.ke is a job listings and career information platform. We provide a service that aggregates and publishes employment opportunities, career guidance, and related content. We are not a recruitment agency and do not act as an intermediary between employers and job seekers.
We do not guarantee employment to any user. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any job listing. All applications are made directly to the employer or recruiting organisation, not through us.
3. Job Listings — Accuracy and Verification
We make reasonable efforts to verify job listings before publication. However, we cannot guarantee that every listing is current, accurate, or still open at the time you view it. Job listings may close early, be extended, modified, or withdrawn without notice to us.
You are responsible for verifying all job details — including deadlines, requirements, salary, and application process — directly with the employer before submitting any application.
4. No Fees Charged to Job Seekers
ActiveJobs.co.ke does not charge job seekers any fee to access the Site, view job listings, or obtain career information. All content is provided free of charge to users.
If you encounter any job posting — whether on our Site or elsewhere — that requires you to pay a fee to apply or to access the application, this is highly likely to be a scam. Report it to us immediately at admin@activejobs.co.ke.
5. User Conduct
By using this Site, you agree not to:
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Post, submit, or transmit any false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content from the Site without our express written permission
• Reproduce, republish, or distribute our content without attribution and written permission
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the proper functioning of the Site
• Submit spam, unsolicited communications, or malicious code through any form on the Site
6. Employer and Job Submitter Responsibilities
If you submit a job listing for publication, you confirm that:
• The position is genuine, current, and legally permissible
• You have authority to advertise the role
• All information provided is accurate and does not misrepresent the employer or the opportunity
• The listing does not require applicants to pay any fee
• You will notify us promptly if the position is filled or withdrawn
We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at our sole discretion without notice or explanation.
7. Intellectual Property
All original content on ActiveJobs.co.ke — including article text, career guides, site design, logos, and graphics — is the intellectual property of ActiveJobs.co.ke and is protected by Kenyan copyright law and applicable international conventions.
You may share links to our content freely. You may quote brief excerpts (up to 50 words) with clear attribution and a link back to the original article. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute our content in full without our express written consent.
Job descriptions sourced from employer career portals remain the intellectual property of the originating organisation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, ActiveJobs.co.ke shall not be liable for:
• Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on information published on the Site
• Any failure to secure employment arising from use of the Site
• Any fraudulent job listings posted by third parties that we could not reasonably have detected
• Any technical errors, downtime, or data loss affecting the Site
• Any actions taken by employers or recruiters in relation to your application
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed KES 1,000 (one thousand Kenya Shillings).
9. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to external websites, employer portals, and government sites. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any external sites.
10. Advertising
The Site displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense and may display other forms of paid promotion. Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. We do not endorse any product or service advertised on the Site unless explicitly stated.
11. Termination of Access
