Available Positions
1. Principal Officer – Collective Bargaining Negotiation
Grade RL 4 | 1 Post
A senior technical role within SRC’s core mandate of advising on public sector remuneration. The Principal Officer will lead and support collective bargaining negotiations between the government and public sector unions — analysing wage proposals, assessing fiscal implications, advising on negotiation positions, and ensuring outcomes align with SRC’s remuneration frameworks and national fiscal policy. Requires strong labour relations, economics, or human resource management background with significant public sector experience.
2. Executive Secretary
Grade RL 5 | 1 Post
Provides high-level secretariat and administrative support to SRC’s senior leadership — managing executive schedules, coordinating Commission meetings and board-level correspondence, preparing briefing materials, and maintaining confidential records. The role requires a polished professional with strong organisational and communication skills, discretion in handling sensitive remuneration and policy documentation, and experience supporting senior leadership in a regulatory or government environment.
3. Human Resource Assistant
Grade RL 7 | 1 Post
Supports the HR function across SRC’s people management processes — assisting with recruitment administration, staff records management, leave tracking, training coordination, and HR compliance documentation. This is an entry-to-mid level HR support role suited to a graduate with a human resources background and a methodical, detail-oriented working style.
4. Supply Chain Management Assistant
Grade RL 7 | 1 Post
Supports SRC’s procurement and supply chain operations — processing purchase requisitions, maintaining supplier records, tracking deliveries, supporting tender documentation, and ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations. Candidates should have a background in supply chain management, procurement, or business administration and familiarity with Kenya’s public procurement framework.
