1. Chief Manager, Corporate Research and Strategy

A senior leadership role responsible for driving KoTDA’s research agenda, strategic planning, and institutional positioning as a global technology hub. You’ll lead the development and implementation of corporate strategy, oversee research initiatives, manage stakeholder intelligence, and ensure KoTDA’s direction aligns with Kenya’s Vision 2030 and its mandate as a Special Economic Zone. This role requires significant strategic management experience and senior-level exposure in a research, policy, or innovation-focused institution.
2. Executive Secretary
Grade 5 | Ref: KoTDA/HR126/2026 | 1 Post
Provides high-level executive and administrative support to senior KoTDA leadership — managing calendars, coordinating board and management meetings, preparing correspondence, handling confidential documentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day executive operations. The role requires a strong combination of organisational precision, discretion, and professional communication skills at a corporate secretariat level.
3. Information Systems Auditor
Grade 6 | Ref: KoTDA/HR127/2026 | 1 Post
Responsible for independently auditing KoTDA’s information systems, technology infrastructure, and digital processes to assess security, compliance, and operational integrity. You’ll evaluate ICT controls, identify vulnerabilities, review system access rights, and prepare audit findings and recommendations for management. A background in IT audit, cybersecurity, or information systems management is essential — CISA or equivalent certification is likely required.
4. Cloud Developer – PaaS and SaaS
Grade 6 | Ref: KoTDA/HR128/2026 | 1 Post
Designs, develops, and maintains cloud-based Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications for KoTDA’s smart city infrastructure. You’ll work on cloud architecture, API development, system integration, and performance optimisation across KoTDA’s digital platforms. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and proficiency in relevant programming languages is expected. This role sits at the intersection of software development and cloud infrastructure for a smart city environment.
5. IT Program Officer
Grade 6 | Ref: KoTDA/HR129/2026 | 1 Post
Manages and coordinates ICT programmes and projects within KoTDA — overseeing planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of technology initiatives across the authority. You’ll liaise between technical teams and management, track programme milestones and budgets, and ensure ICT projects are delivered on time and within scope. Experience in IT project management and familiarity with structured programme management frameworks (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage.
6. IoT Engineer
Grade 6 | Ref: KoTDA/HR130/2026 | 1 Post
Designs, deploys, and manages Internet of Things (IoT) systems and infrastructure supporting Konza Technopolis’s smart city operations — including sensor networks, connected devices, data collection platforms, and real-time monitoring systems. You’ll integrate IoT solutions with KoTDA’s broader digital infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity and device issues, and ensure systems meet performance and security standards. A background in embedded systems, network engineering, or IoT architecture is essential for this role.
