About the Role
Our client is an established FMCG company with a growing product portfolio and a fast-moving finance function. They are looking for a Finance Assistant who can keep up with the pace, handle high transaction volumes with accuracy, and support a lean finance team in delivering clean numbers every month — remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices, supplier payments, and expense claims accurately and on time
- Reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and bank statements on a regular basis
- Support month-end close, cost tracking, and variance reporting across product lines
- Assist with stock and inventory reconciliations in line with FMCG operational cycles
- Liaise with sales, supply chain, and procurement teams on finance-related queries
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax obligations, and company financial policies
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA Part II and above — strongly preferred
- 1–3 years of finance or accounts experience, ideally within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing
- Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Self-driven and comfortable operating independently in a remote environment
