Kenafric Manufacturing is hiring a Data Entry Clerk for its Stationery Division in Nairobi. If you have at least two years of data entry experience, hands-on SAP knowledge, and a sharp eye for accuracy, this is your chance to join one of Kenya’s well-known manufacturing companies. The Data Entry Clerk Kenafric Manufacturing Nairobi 2026 application deadline is 26 April 2026 — apply immediately.
About This Role
This position sits within the Stationery Division and exists to keep production and inventory data clean, current, and reliable. You will be the person responsible for making sure that raw material reservations, finished goods postings, and order records are captured accurately and on time. Errors in this environment have a direct impact on production decisions, so attention to detail is non-negotiable.
Day to day, you will work across ERP systems — primarily SAP — handling everything from raising material reservations to generating management reports. You will also be responsible for reviewing data for inconsistencies, correcting errors before they affect downstream operations, and maintaining proper backup records of all completed work.
This role suits someone who is structured, self-disciplined, and comfortable working under production timelines. If you thrive in a fast-moving manufacturing environment where accuracy directly impacts output, this position is a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise reservations for raw materials and packaging materials to support production planning and inventory control
- Process and close orders on time to ensure production schedules are maintained without delays
- Post finished goods to the system promptly and accurately upon completion of production runs
- Review data entries for deficiencies, correct inconsistencies, and verify all final output before submission
- Compile, sort, and verify source data according to priority order in preparation for computer entry
- Manage and maintain the indent sheet with up-to-date and accurate information at all times
- Assist with the preparation of weekly input-output reports as required by the operations team
- Generate operational reports, store completed work in designated system locations, and perform regular data backups
Required Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant data entry or ERP-related experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Hands-on working experience with SAP — this is a firm requirement, not a nice-to-have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Desirable:
- Prior experience in a stationery, packaging, or consumer goods manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with inventory management processes and production reporting
Skills and Competencies
- Strong SAP knowledge with the ability to navigate production and inventory modules confidently
- High accuracy and attention to detail — you catch errors before they become problems
- Good time management — able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight production deadlines
- Honesty, integrity, and a strong personal work ethic
- Structured and organised approach to data handling and file management
- Ability to work under pressure without compromising output quality
