Role Overview
The Growth Coordinator plays a central role in driving audience acquisition, engagement, and pipeline development across ACLED’s global customer and partner ecosystem.
The position focuses on executing structured growth programs across email marketing, webinars, digital campaigns, events, and product communications.
Reporting to the Director of Revenue, the successful candidate will collaborate across sales, research, and leadership teams to translate ACLED data and insights into measurable growth outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Demand Generation
- Execute ACLED’s global growth strategy across multiple channels.
- Build scalable campaigns supporting audience expansion and pipeline growth.
- Develop lead generation and nurturing funnels alongside sales teams.
Email Marketing & Automation
- Manage end-to-end email programs including newsletters and campaigns.
- Segment audiences and personalize communications.
- Build automated workflows and lead scoring systems using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Continuously optimize campaign performance using data insights.
Webinars & Virtual Events
- Lead planning and execution of webinars, virtual roundtables, and industry events.
- Identify relevant themes, speakers, and audiences.
- Drive registration, attendance, and post-event conversion.
- Repurpose event content into long-term marketing assets.
- Coordinate event logistics and follow-up engagement strategies.
Product Communications
- Translate complex data products into compelling value propositions.
- Support product launches and feature releases.
- Develop sales enablement materials including case studies, one-pagers, and presentations.
- Align messaging across research, analysis, and revenue teams.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track campaign performance across email, webinars, and digital platforms.
- Build reporting frameworks tied to revenue and growth goals.
- Optimize ROI using data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in global growth or demand generation roles.
- Experience in impact sector, social enterprise, or INGO environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and campaign execution skills.
- Knowledge of digital growth techniques and analytics tools.
- Experience with CRM and automation platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- Ability to manage digital advertising campaigns.
- Strong communication and copywriting abilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Interest in international conflict prevention and global affairs.
Desirable Qualifications
- Data analytics certification or postgraduate qualification.
- Experience in data or technology organizations.
- Agency or graphic design experience.
- International fundraising exposure.
- Knowledge of humanitarian or development sectors.
- Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Arabic.

- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 15%).

Salary Band: USD 55,000 – 60,000 per year

Consultancy Overview
ACLED seeks a West Africa Researcher to support political violence and protest data collection across West African countries, particularly the Sahel region and Nigeria. The role is fully remote and open to candidates worldwide with reliable internet access.
This is an entry-level consultancy requiring a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week and may include mid-week and weekend submissions.
Researchers will collect, review, and manage conflict data by analyzing reports from media outlets, international organizations, NGOs, and security sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect political violence and protest data using assigned country sources.
- Code conflict events using Excel templates.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of datasets.
- Maintain detailed quantitative records.
- Participate in ACLED’s structured researcher training program.
Note: The role involves reviewing conflict-related media content.
Consultancy Period
Initial Contract: 15 May 2026 – 30 June 2027
Continuation may be offered based on performance and funding availability.
Remuneration
Pay Rate: USD 20 per hour.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Conflict Studies, Peacebuilding, International Development, or related field.
- Strong Excel proficiency (essential).
- Fluency in English and French (essential).
- Experience conducting desk-based research.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback.
- Knowledge of West African conflict dynamics, especially the Sahel and Nigeria, is advantageous.
- Access to computer, stable internet, email, and Microsoft Office Suite.
