Tano Kenya is hiring a Sales Consultant – General Business to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities across its technology solutions portfolio.

About the Role
The Sales Consultant – General Business will be responsible for building strong client relationships, promoting solutions across cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise technologies, and achieving sales targets within assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Build and manage strong client relationships to understand needs and offer solutions
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Lead the full sales cycle, including presentations, proposals, and negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, technical, and OEM partners
- Monitor pipeline, forecast sales performance, and report on progress
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events and networking platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology developments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, IT, or related field
- Master’s degree is advantageous
- Relevant vendor certifications in cybersecurity, cloud (AWS), or infrastructure technologies are advantageous
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in sales, preferably within IT or technology solutions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing client relationships and driving account growth
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
- Working knowledge of enterprise solutions such as cybersecurity, cloud (AWS), virtualization, data protection, and networking technologies
