Retail and sales recruitment professional with experience placing candidates across Kenya’s consumer goods and FMCG sector | Last updated: April 2026
Denri Africa is hiring Shop Attendants to be based in Nyeri. The deadline is Saturday, 25 April 2026, and this is a field and in-store sales role — not a passive counter job. If you’ve worked in retail, FMCG, or direct sales and you consistently hit targets, this Shop Attendant Denri Africa Nyeri 2026 opportunity is worth applying for today.
About This Role
Denri Africa is looking for energetic, results-oriented individuals to manage day-to-day shop operations in Nyeri while actively driving sales. The role combines in-store management with field activations and brand promotions — so you’ll need to be comfortable stepping out of the shop and engaging customers at events and in the field, not just waiting for walk-ins.
This is a target-driven position. If you struggle to work under sales pressure or prefer a purely administrative retail role, this one isn’t for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the shop — opening, closing, stock management, and general upkeep
- Drive sales performance and consistently achieve monthly targets set by management
- Participate in brand activations, promotions, and field sales events on behalf of Denri Africa
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint while upholding Denri Africa’s brand values
- Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and customer interactions as required
The dual in-store and field sales dimension is the defining feature of this role. Your month doesn’t end at the shop counter — you’ll be out at activations and promotions as part of the job.
Required Skills and Qualities
- Prior experience in a retail or sales environment — even 6–12 months is relevant
- Strong sales mindset with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you’re representing the Denri Africa brand directly to customers
- Flexibility to support both in-store and field sales activities, including weekend or event-based work
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
If you’ve previously worked as a sales representative, promoter, merchandiser, or retail assistant at an FMCG company, a mobile phone shop, or a consumer goods brand, you’re well-positioned for this role. Lead with your sales numbers in your CV — units sold, targets achieved, or revenue generated where possible.
What They Offer
Denri Africa hasn’t published a salary range for this position. Shop Attendant and retail sales roles in Nyeri and Kenya’s tier-2 towns at this experience level typically include a base salary of KES 15,000–30,000/month plus commissions tied to sales targets — though the exact structure varies by employer. Use LinkedIn Salary or Glassdoor Kenya to benchmark retail sales compensation before your interview.
