About This Role
This role focuses on driving sales performance within an assigned territory by identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and promoting Kenafric’s stationery products. You will work closely with distributors, wholesalers, and bookshops to expand market reach and increase product visibility.
Your day-to-day work involves meeting sales targets, conducting field visits, and ensuring customers receive timely support. This role suits you if you enjoy field sales, relationship building, and working in a fast-moving FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and bookshops within your territory
- Manage and grow sales within the assigned geographical area
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Execute regional sales strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager
- Conduct regular field visits and customer meetings to understand needs
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure customers receive updated and accurate price lists
- Monitor sales performance and achieve assigned sales targets
- Follow up on outstanding payments and agree on clearance plans
- Maintain daily sales and collection reports
- Support merchandising activities where required
Required Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in stationery manufacturing or distribution
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience working with distributors and retail networks
Desirable:
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing sector in Kenya
- Understanding of Nairobi and surrounding market dynamics
