About This Role
You’ll annotate images and video clips to help AI models understand scenes, motion, emotions, and context. The work is detail-focused and creative — you’re essentially teaching AI to see and interpret the world the way humans do.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse short video clips and images to identify and annotate subjects, settings, actions, and emotions
- Describe temporal sequences, scene transitions, and interactions in videos
- Label complex visual cues including mood, lighting, and spatial relationships
- Follow detailed annotation guidelines for consistency and data quality
- Validate AI-generated outputs for correctness and relevance
- Collaborate with project leads on evolving annotation standards
- Contribute structured datasets improving AI understanding of static and dynamic visuals
Requirements
- Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow nuanced instructions
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with file uploads
- Analytical thinking — ability to understand context and intent
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
- Prior image/video annotation experience is preferred but not required
- Reliable desktop or laptop with stable internet connection
- Availability of at least 20 hours per week (4 hours/day) with 4 hours overlap with PST (Pacific Standard Time — equivalent to EAT midnight, so plan your schedule accordingly)
