About This Role
You’ll register, verify, and safeguard data from FERI, FERE, and ADC forms within the SYGREM system — a trade and customs reporting platform. The role demands accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure in a migration or government-adjacent environment.
- FERI — Electronic Import Information Form
- FERE — Electronic Export Information Form
- ADC — Certificate/Authorisation to Load
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter information from trade and customs forms into the SYGREM system
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data before validation
- Safeguard declarations and ensure traceability
- Identify and report errors or inconsistencies to the line manager
- Meet file processing deadlines consistently
- Guarantee confidentiality and security of all information
- Organise and archive physical and digital documents
- Collaborate with relevant teams for data validation
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and database systems
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Data control and validation capability
- Knowledge of administrative procedures in Kenya
- Experience with reporting systems or platforms is an asset
Languages:
- French — good command required
- Swahili and English are appreciated but not mandatory
Education and Experience:
- Diploma: Baccalaureate to Bac+2 in computer science, management, administration, or equivalent
- 1–2 years minimum in data entry or a similar administrative role
- Experience in a government or migration environment is desired
