About This Role
The Graduate Trainee will work directly under the Head of Internal Audit through appointed Internal Auditors, supporting audit assignments across departments and branches, reviewing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is designed to provide practical, structured audit experience in a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting internal audits across various departments and branches
- Support review of financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation
- Participate in stock counts and verification exercises
- Help identify control gaps, risks, and areas for improvement
- Assist in preparing audit working papers and drafting audit reports
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform data analysis and support audit testing procedures
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the audit team
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field — or currently pursuing the degree
Professional Qualifications
- CPA-K or ACCA finalist qualification is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and audit processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
