About the Client:
Our client, a religious institution seeks a cleaner to join an active Ministry in the hospitality department.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities.
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
- Mopping, Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
- Dusting, damp wiping, washing or polishing the furniture, ledges, window sills and external surfaces of shelves and fitments.
- Ensure that furniture in offices, meeting rooms and all areas is arranged in the required manner at all times.
- Replenishing toilet accessories and consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels) in the various points of usage.
- Preparing tea for staff, congregants, and meetings
- Washing and properly storing used utensils after tea service
- Assisting with light admin tasks such as office shopping and deliveries
- Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor from time to time.
Key Qualifications
- Certificate of KCSE
- Ability to read and speak fluently in English and Kiswahili
- Proven work experience as a cleaner
- Able to work with fluid working hours- due to the nature of church activities
- High levels of integrity
- Good interpersonal skills
