About the AYPReS Programme
AYPReS is a multi-country research initiative being implemented in ten African nations: Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Benin, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire. The programme focuses on understanding the factors that drive youth resilience and how young people’s lived experiences, voices, and perceptions can shape sustainable systems change. The ultimate goal is to generate evidence-based insights that inform responsive policies, programmes, and practices that promote dignified and fulfilling work for African youth.

Programme: PASGR – AYPReS
As a Research Enumerator, you will play a critical role in collecting, cleaning, and organizing high-quality data that will support national and regional policy research on youth resilience and employment systems.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be expected to:

Participate in enumerator training and ethical research orientation.
-
Conduct field data collection through surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, and digital data capture tools.

Clean, organize, and validate collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Adhere strictly to PASGR research protocols, ethical standards, and data quality requirements.

Prepare and submit timely field reports and contribute to project monitoring and evaluation activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant social science, statistical, or interdisciplinary field such as Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Anthropology, Public Policy, Gender Studies, or related disciplines. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Be 35 years of age or below at the time of application.

Demonstrate prior experience in research or data collection using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods.

Possess strong communication skills in English and/or Kiswahili. Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.

Be available for field deployment, training sessions, and reporting activities.

Publications or contributions to academic or policy research outputs are desirable but not mandatory.
