About This Young Graduate Trainee Program
The 2026 Young Graduate Trainee Program is an 18-month structured development program that provides fresh graduates with the opportunity to launch their careers in the energy sector through comprehensive training, real-world business experience, and leadership development.
This isn’t a typical entry-level job. You’ll participate in cross-functional rotations across key departments including operations, finance, marketing, procurement, supply chain, IT, legal, and commercial functions. The program combines local training in Kenya with potential regional exposure across Rubis operations in East Africa and beyond. Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements
- Upper Second-Class Degree (or above) – Minimum 2:1 classification or First-Class honors
- Graduated within the last 2 years – Recent graduates (2024, 2025, or 2026 graduation)
- Eligible Disciplines: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial), Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Legal, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum KCSE Mean Grade: B+ – Strong secondary school performance
