About This Role
At Siri Spices, the operations intern keeps the engine running. You will manage stock, handle customer orders, coordinate Nairobi deliveries, and keep the CRM system accurate and up to date. Every task you own has a direct impact on how smoothly the business operates day to day.
This internship suits someone who is extremely organised, confident communicating in both English and Swahili, and fast on their feet. Siri Spices has made it clear — you will do real work from Day 1, and the six-month duration is renewable for strong performers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock and inventory on a daily basis to ensure accurate records
- Receive, verify, and log deliveries as they come in
- Handle customer orders from placement through to fulfilment
- Coordinate Nairobi-based deliveries and liaise with riders or logistics partners
- Keep the CRM system clean, updated, and accurate at all times
- Flag stock discrepancies or fulfilment issues to the operations lead promptly
Required Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Extremely organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicating on the phone in both English and Swahili
- Fast, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Desirable:
- Prior attachment or internship in an operations, logistics, or e-commerce environment
- Basic experience with CRM tools, spreadsheets, or inventory software
Skills and Competencies
- High personal organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Clear verbal communication in English and Swahili
- Reliability and consistency in a fast-paced environment
- Basic data entry and record-keeping accuracy
