AHK Eastern Africa – the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa – is seeking a qualified and motivated Human Resources & Personal Assistant to join its Nairobi office. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic international organization supporting both HR operations and executive-level administration.

About the Role
This is a dual-function position combining Human Resources Management and Executive Personal Assistance. The successful candidate will support daily HR functions while also providing high-level administrative and coordination support to the Delegate.
The role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Responsibilities

Support recruitment and onboarding processes

Assist with employee relations and HR documentation

Support implementation and compliance with HR policies and procedures

Maintain employee records and HR files
Personal Assistant Responsibilities

Manage the Delegate’s calendar and scheduling

Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics

Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations

Required Qualifications and Skills

Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Proven experience in HR administration, executive assistance, or a similar role

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
